Yesterday, we decided to make snowmen as part of our object lesson for writing. Kids had to work in teams to problem solve how to get the snow to pack, what methods worked the best, etc. In addition to having fun and problem solving, we were able to then go back to the classroom and brainstorm ideas for our informative essay on "How to Build a Snowman". Hurray! The kiddos and I had tons o' fun! Here are a few pics!
